Just Pics and a Little Update
We had a good, encouraging visit with the doctor today who is wonderful and reassured Sister that the different things she is experiencing are normal. Her body didn't get where it is overnight. He explained that she needs to be patient but for the most part what she is experiencing is her body beginning to recognize and fight back against the foreign invader. Fear and anxiety are definite foes in this battle. Jesus Himself told us that fear is useless and that what is needed is trust in Him, no matter where He leads. The doctor is happy with where Sister is, at the 2 week mark, and reminded her that she will be at this work for months to come. So, as Sister said: "just be patient. It will take time."
It is quite amazing, the power of words to bring peace and clarity. So important for all of us to maintain a positive spirit. Today we will just share some pics of the local Church here where we go to Mass (Our Lady, Star of the Sea), some of the people and activities here, and of course, more of the ocean.
Blessings to all of you! Continually united with you all in prayer.

Amen to that Sr. Eileen!
DeletePraying for you Sister, we haven’t met but I know Sr. Anne Marie Walsh and worked with some of the Sisters in Belize and Guatemala. So that makes us brother and sister.
