Journey to New Hope

 JOURNEY TO NEW HOPE

Hitting the Ground Running

"I am overwhelmed with the gift of being able to come here.  Up until coming here I felt I was dying a little more everyday.  But now I just feel alive.  From the moment I got here it's been one treatment to the next and I have so much energy and hope.  I so appreciate the joy and compassion of everyone here."

These are the words of Sr. Maria Lucina upon arriving here at Hope 4 Cancer Clinic in Tijuana Mexico.  (https://hope4cancer.com/)  The clinic, which offers a non-invasive and non-toxic approach to treating cancer, has been here for almost 2 decades and was founded by Dr. Anthony Jimenez.  We were privileged to hear him speak and answer questions the very first afternoon after we arrived.  He travels the world, is internationally known, and runs another clinic in Cancun.  This clinic is situated across the street from the sea and so walking in the surf is a happy option every single day!

A majority of patients who come here are 4th stage and have gone the traditional route with little success.  But we have been amazed at the stories of healing and cures from treatments that really do work with a much higher success rate.

This is a Spirit - filled environment which gives such a sense of family.  We all eat together, (Good food by the way), and bonds develop very quickly with other patients who are all very open and caring.  A spirit of joy and hope fills the place.  It is so amazing.  Dr. Tony said in his initial talk he learned long ago to listen to the Holy Spirit with each of his patients.  And it seems that same Holy Spirit has hand-picked the staff that works here.  It is so different than anything else you might experience when undergoing a life-threatening illness.  Yet it just seems natural, the way everything should be.

We know you all have many questions about what we are doing here.  I encourage you to go to the website and learn more.  These places are becoming more and more numerous now, because they offer treatments that work and are not available in the US.

On a personal note, I have never seen Sister laugh so much and be so filled with hope as she is since she came.  You really have to see and experience this place to believe it.  It is truly wonderful.

We will try to post a little everyday.  And we'll post more about some of the treatments Sister does and about some of the wonderful people here.  By the way, we did meet a woman here from Iowa who came to be treated for breast cancer.  She had gone to the University of Iowa to see about getting Vitamin C infusions.  The University of Iowa has had some real success with Vitamin C infusions and Dr. Tony mentioned them in his talk.  (Yay Iowa!)  When our friend went to see about getting that treatment for her condition she was told no because they only treat pancreatic cancer and there was already a cure for breast cancer:  chemo, surgery and radiation.  So she came here to get the treatment she couldn't get there.

We know that this is hard for many people to believe:  that there are other ways than what we have always been told.  But we feel we've been led here by the Lord to witness to His ways and the many other gifts and approaches He has.  We in no way disparage traditional medicine.  So many things in it are inspired by God.  But in the area of cancer, who doesn't want a better way?

Stay tuned!  Sister will have a protocol to follow at home and it will involve some lifestyle changes, but nothing as debilitating as many current treatments.

We wish you all the greatest graces of Resurrection peace and light and joy!

Sr. Anne Marie and Sr. Maria Lucina
