Wrapping Up the First Phase
On Monday, Sr. Lucina will have her exit interview at the clinic. This includes the results of her latest blood work and tests, additional instructions until her 2 day visit in 3 months to test where she's at, etc., and arranging everything she needs to follow the protocols at home.
Several of our friends have had their exit or follow-up interviews already and are delighted that their cancer is either diminishing, or in some cases, not evident at all. Wendi's 3 tumors have shrunk. Our friends Richard and Loreena had good news also. His cancer was not evident in his testing results so they know they are on the right track in trying to keep it that way.
The following are some pics of some of our friends: Sister has had wonderful nurses, 2 of whom are pictured with Sister: Gisela and Carmen! Joaquina and Monica are two other nurses who are just as wonderful and special!
Martin and the rest of the kitchen staff are also the best, and so gracious in the way they relate and serve! Sr. Helen had just arrived is also featured below. She kindly submitted to a pic for the blog.
Sister Lucina wants once again to express how deeply she feels the prayers of all those praying for her, and how grateful she is for the love and care and emails, texts, calls, cards, etc coming from all of you. Be assured of continued prayers of thanksgiving for you and for your intentions as well.
